And there we were—looking like lost tourists, squinting through Ray-Bans in search of a laundromat. Armed with a few wild ideas and absolutely zero clue about running a café, Neighbourhood Café Lisbon was born.
Born to serve the best specialty coffee and brunch plates in the city of Lisbon.
With builders yelling in Portuguese, we nodded like we understood as they built Lisbon's first:

After 50 days of hard work and countless testing of specialty coffee, along with organic, Portuguese wines, we finally opened our doors to the community.
Exactly two years and nine months later, Condé Nast readers voted us best restaurant in Lisbon for brunch - Ben, Founder of Neighbourhood
Fast forward to 2024, working with local architect @AWMC, local wood worker @apewood, local artist @wide.boy & local framer @SamEinstein
Neighbourhood Graça was born
What started as a dream fuelled by specialty coffee in Lisbon and questionable Portuguese has grown into a set of two cafés serving the best brunch in town. Adored by locals, their dogs, and the likes of Conde Nast and TopJaw.
And we can't wait to share what's next.
